Hey guys, I'm really sorry I missed this one. All my finals were yesterday and a paper that I had to write tout en français was giving me some trouble. Hell, the only free time I had this past week was seeing Graham & Doug on saturday. Now it is summer time, so this won't be an issue next week.
Once again, really sorry but I will give this film a watch this week. |

That's okay.
Trouble from writing in french is something I know all too well. |

Sure, if you don't mind, but I hate being the one who gets this postponed because I got a little overwhelmed with work.
I did make a nametag, but if you listen to the latest Rental Car ep from DLM, you will hear about the nametag that won. The moment that dude pulled that out, I knew I didn't have a shot. My nametag was my vinyl record copy of From Russia with Love soundtrack, and I put my name over Russia. I almost used my vinyl record copy of the Dark Shadows TV soundtrack with "FUCK TIM BURTON" on the top, but I thought that might be overdoing it. Next time they stop by, I'll up my game. But no one came close to that dude with the Leonard Maltin mask. No one. If you guys wanna go ahead and do a new movie (I think I can watch Charade tonight, but I just got some free movie tickets to that Marigold Best Hotel movie for tonight), my feelings shall not be hurt. I just didn't want you guys to think that I bailed. |

Next time, if anyone misses a movie, let's just move on. I cost this nice group a week without a new movie.
I saw Charade, and I bet Universal feels dumb for screwing up the copyright forms. Oops! I'm sad to admit that this is the first movie I've seen that has Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. It served as a big reminder that I have a lot of movie watching to do over this summer. And before this movie, Walter Matthau was always an old comic curmudgeon (Grumpy Men, Dennis the Menace). Crazy man. I also read that someone called this the greatest Hitchcock movie that Hitchcock didn't direct. Man, I really need to work on watching them all because I really enjoyed Charade. |
